Baptism tommorow

Hello everyone,

This week was amazing. We had a lot of unexpected things happen we got everything ready for the baptism for J. She is so ready for the baptism tomorrow!

On Tuesday, Elder Parker was not feeling very well, so we ended up staying inside. We had a lesson with one of our recent converts, but we ended up having to cancel it because he was not feeling well by the time the lesson came around. It was a really slow day because we didnt really have anything to do because we stayed inside all day.

On Wednesday we had a really interesting lesson with C. right before we went home. C. has absoulutly no religious backround so she is starting from square one. All we did was teach her about Jesus Christ and what he did during his life. We showed her a few bible videos to help her belief in Jesus Christ. but the hard thing was, she was not understanding the simplest parts. but we tried to help her.

Thursday was one of our busy days. We had our weekly planning in the morning, then we had to go over to our assistant ward mission leaders work so that we could fill out the program for the baptism. then we had to go straight to a lesson right after we did that. It was a really busy day for us.

On Friday we totally forgot to go to a move to help out. Then we got a call from our elders quorum president asking us if we forgot to go to the move.   We looked at each other and said, " oh crap!" we ended up being the only ones expected to move her. So we moved her early Friday morning. It ended up working out great because her sons were not able to come on Friday, but they were able to come on Saturday. It was nice because we would have had to move a really old piano by ourselves. I figured out that nobody likes to go to moves, because there is a 90 percent chance that there is going to be a piano. After the move we had a lesson. Then we had lunch and then we were running from appointment to appointment the rest of the day. The same thing happened on Sunday.

Serving in Corvallis is an interesting thing to do. All we have to do is show up to church and the investigators will come to us. This happened yesterday. We were at church and somebody walked up to us and asked, " Can you come over sometime today and teach me?" Its interesting to say that our greatest finding technique is showing up to church.

We are very excited for the baptism tomorrow and it is going to be a good day.

Have a good week!
Elder Daniels
